Tales of a house husband: I was born in 1969 in Bradford, West Yorkshire. I was thrilled at 18 to get a place as a PE student at Carnegie College Leeds. A year later devastation, as a serious leg injury playing football seemed to end my hopes of PE teaching and playing the game I loved. I fought the negativity and got my dream, managing to become a PE teacher and a semi professional footballer, who even managed to play in a national final. All this done with a caliper on my left leg. I married a beautiful woman, and had four fantastic children. Professionally, I rose to become a Deputy Headteacher and had offers to become a Headteacher, but that was a job I never wanted. In 2019, family circumstances meant I had to become a house husband. This blog tells of funny tales from my past and present, and the reaction to them of my two youngest children.
